Delivery Timelines

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that our Seller or our delivery partners have a holiday between the day you placed your order and the delivery date—based on the timelines shown on the product page, we add an extra day if that’s the case. Additionally, some delivery partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays, and this is factored into the delivery dates.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Please note that business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Estimated delivery time depends on factors such as:

  • The Seller offering the product
  • The product's availability with the Seller
  • The destination of the shipment and the Seller's location

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

Varying delivery times can be attributed to product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination, and the delivery partner’s service efficiency in your area.

For more accurate delivery times, please enter your default pin code on the product page (you don’t have to enter it every time).

Serviceability & Shipping Restrictions

Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Please enter your pin code on the product page (you only need to do this once) to determine whether the product can be delivered to your location. If you do not provide a pin code until checkout, the pin code in your shipping address will be used.

Your area’s serviceability depends on:

  • The Seller's shipping policy
  • Legal restrictions on shipping certain products
  • The availability of reliable delivery partners

Sometimes, Sellers may choose not to ship to certain locations at their discretion.

Cash on Delivery (CoD)

Why is the CoD option not offered in my location?

The Cash on Delivery option is available based on the ability of our delivery partners in your area to accept cash at the time of delivery. They have limits on the cash amount, and if your order’s value exceeds that limit, CoD may be unavailable. Please check your pin code on the product page for availability.

Returns & Order Issues

I need to return an item. How do I arrange a pick-up?

Returns are easy with adiva. Simply contact our customer support to initiate a return, and you will receive a call explaining the process. Wherever possible, our logistics partner will facilitate the pick-up of your item. If not, you may return the item through a third-party service (return fees are borne by the Seller).

I did not receive my order but got a delivery confirmation SMS/Email.

If you receive a delivery confirmation but did not actually receive the product, please report the issue within 7 days from the confirmation date so that the Seller can investigate.

Product Availability Status

What do the different tags like "In Stock" or "Available" mean?

In Stock:

For products marked "In Stock," Sellers provide a delivery time based on your location's pin code (e.g., 2-3, 4-5, or 4-6 business days for standard delivery). For some locations, the delivery may be via Registered Post which could take 1-2 weeks.

Available:

This indicates that while the product may not be readily available, the Seller can procure it on order. Delivery times will depend on the procurement and shipping process.

Preorder or Forthcoming:

Items available for preorder are expected to be released soon. They will be shipped on the official release day and delivered within 2 to 6 business days. Specific release details (e.g., "5th May" or "August 3rd week") will be provided.

Out of Stock:

If an item is out of stock, it is currently unavailable for sale. You can use the 'Notify Me' feature to receive an update once it becomes available.

Imported:

Products marked as 'Imported' are sourced from outside India and might take at least 10 days or longer for delivery.

Back In Stock Soon:

If an item is popular and sold out, you can book an order and it will be shipped as soon as the Seller restocks.

Temporarily Unavailable:

This tag indicates that the product is currently out of stock but might be available soon. Use the 'Notify Me' feature for updates.

Permanently Discontinued:

The product is no longer produced or available, as it has been permanently discontinued.

Out of Print:

The product is not available because it is no longer being published.

International Shipping

Currently, adiva does not deliver items internationally. However, you can make purchases on our site using credit/debit cards issued in India and in 21 other countries, provided that the delivery address is within India.
